Who we are & what motivates us
Working at the forefront of innovation in a fast-changing world makes patent translation both enjoyable and satisfying.
Our experience in the field of patent and intellectual property translation is extensive — with decades of combined experience and expertise — for patent-related documents published with the European patent office, World intellectual Property organisation and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.
Translation & language services
Our specialism is patent translation — primarily with the language pairs German-English and Russian-English. We are skilled at patent translation since we focus exclusively on this technical field. This has allowed us to hone our craft for well over a decade.
Associated linguistic and translation-related services are provided in this context.
Sharing our knowledge & experience
We want to share our many insights.
Think of it as a distillation of the wisdom gained through many years of immersion in everything patents: PCT rules and guidelines, expert opinions on patentability, style guides, common applicant and/or translator errors/oversights, the common pitfalls to look out for and what characteristics make for a successful patent application.
Guaranteed quality

When it comes to choosing a patent translator, it’s largely simply a matter of using the correct tool for the job. There is a lot hinging on the good and faithful translation of patent document(s), so it makes sense to employ a specialist in this endeavour — people with extensive experience over many years and even decades in translating the types of documents that you also require to be translated.
We have honed our craft over the years to not only be well versed in the idiosyncrasies of patent translation and style — working on behalf of the World Intellectual Property Organization and European Patent Office — but in so doing have become very familiar with the potential pitfalls and challenges that such translation can bring.
It is also a matter of integrity for us. We know where our competencies lie and therefore have committed to providing translation in a domain in which we are indeed specialists. Just like we would not expect literary translators to dabble in technical patent translation, we also stick to what we know and thereby ensure that we are only ever providing services of the utmost quality.
